External funding for December 2012

During December 2012, the College of Technology received external funding that totaled  $234,900.

Faculty who received funding (all are principal investigators unless otherwise noted) were:

  • Stephen Elliott, Technology Leadership & Technology, Advances in the Human Biometric Sensor Interaction Model – mobile biometrics and operator training U.S. Department of Homeland Security, $165,000
  • Qingyou Han (PI), Mechanical Engineering Technology; Mark French (Co-PI), Mechanical Engineering Technology; Phil Sanger (Co-PI), Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology; and Thomas Hagovsky (Co-PI), Aviation Technology, Defect Analysis and Mechanical Property of Used Steel Natural Gas Pipeline, Northern IN Public Service, $9,900
  • Vahid Motevalli, Center for Technology Development Consortium, Multi-Sponsored Industrials, $10,000
