TechPride Golf Scramble raises $10,200 for scholarships

The 2012 TechPride Golf Scramble brought together 19 teams to raise money for scholarships for College of Technology students. The 2012 event raised $10,200 to be distributed to students with financial need during the 2013-14 academic year.
For the third year in a row, the team from Haggard and Stocking won the first place prize, which includes a TechPride trophy with their names engraved on it. The winning team included Herb Haggard, John Ehrhart, Charles Smith and Steve Haynes.
The second place team was from Faurecia, and the third place team was Technology Alumni #1.
Other contest winners were:
- Closest to the pin – Charles Smith
- Longest Putt – Bob Bonwell
The next TechPride Golf Scramble will take place September 13, 2013. Contact the College of Technology Office of Advancement to make sure you are included on the invitation list.
