AITP students win awards at national conference

Students from Purdue’s Department of Computer and Information Technology won three awards and four honorable mentions during the contest portion of the 2012 AITP National Collegiate Conference in San Antonio, March 29-31.

Results include:

  • Database Design (74 teams)
    • First place: Suruchi Shah and Daniel Rouleau
    • Honorable Mention: Nick Conforti and Eric Daugharty
  • Systems Analysis & Design (41 teams)
    • Second place: Suruchi Shah and Daniel Rouleau
  • Java Development (30 teams)
    • Second place: Caleb Rouleau and Dave Helms
  • Network Design (57 teams)
    • Honorable Mention: Matt Kelly and Jared Parrish; and Zakary Zimmerman and Jake Aronstam
  • Security Scenarios (33 teams)
    • Honorable Mention: Troy Davis and Matt Kelly
