Morris named student responder at commencement

Bryan Morris, a senior in building construction management from Greenwood, S.C., was the student responder for Purdue’s afternoon commencement, Dec. 18.

After the address from Purdue President France A. Cordova, Morris addressed graduating seniors from the colleges of Health and Human Sciences, Pharmacy, Science, Technology and the schools of Management and Veterinary Medicine.

Also during the ceremony, Purdue awarded posthumous bachelor’s and associate degrees to Sean Matti. A double major in organizational leadership and supervision and industrial technology, Matti died July 3, 2011.
