Purdue holds tight to third place in Solar Decathlon

Purdue’s IN Home entry in the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon 2011 remains in third place after results of the Communications contest were announced today.

Less than one point separates Purdue from Ohio State University, the second place team.

The University of Maryland, which placed third in today’s contest, holds the lead by 15 points. Two more contests have yet to be announced: Market Appeal and Energy Balance. They will be announced during events Saturday, Oct. 1. See complete scores.
