Today was a day of many firsts for Purdue University at the Solar Decathlon 2011. A few of the exciting events that happened today were..

  • Inaugural Solar Decathlon Opening Ceremony
  • Many corporate CEO’s visited the INhome (VIP Tours)
  • Jury walkthroughs (architecture, market appeal, communications, and engineering)
  • Measured contests began at 5pm

The many visitors who toured the INhome today acknowledged the overall design of the home and it’s ability to fit into a Midwest neighborhood.

The team looks forward to showcasing the home to the general public tomorrow! Tours will be open weekdays from 10am-2pm and weekends from 10am-5:30pm. Come support our team and learn about the advanced systems and sustainable features of our house!
