Technology Commercialization and Entrepreneurship kickoff

Written by  //  July 21, 2011  //  TechCommercialization Blog  //  No comments

Matt McKillip here – (yeah, my name is not really techcommercialization). I’m the director of research relations for the College of Technology at Purdue University, where I work closely with students and faculty to help them market their ideas. Here’s my profile if you want to learn more about me.

The college is launching this blog as an additional means to create a strong culture of entrepreneurship among faculty, students and staff. This is one place we can all congregate and talk about what we are doing to develop great ideas and commercialize those ideas. I’m passionate about entrepreneurship so I’ll get on here and blog every once in a while and hope to hear from you.

Tomorrow I’m meeting with a great group of students who are going to help us launch (re-launch) a Purdue wide entrepreneurship club.  So I might have some news to report later tomorrow after hearing the ideas the students present. The old club was called Purdue Innovations.

If you have ideas you would like to share about the challenges and opportunities in technology commercialization and entrepreneurship, feel free to comment on this blog.
